A house beyond walls
Chandrashekar RESIDENCE
A House Beyond Walls is an exploration of openness—where boundaries dissolve into flowing spaces, nature interweaves with built form, and luxury is found in restraint and quietude.
This contemporary residence blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living. Designed around light, ventilation, and material honesty, it reflects a seamless fusion of spatial fluidity, natural textures, and site-sensitive design—delivering both aesthetic elegance and functional comfort.

Design Philosophy
“Vastushilpa must emerge from the soil and belong to the place… it should be rooted, not imposed.” — B.V. Doshi
The façade balances bold geometry with earthy materials, drawing from textures of stone and wood. Layered massing and deep-set windows respond to Mysore’s climate, while the interplay of light and shadow lends the home a restrained yet expressive character.
Interiors
“Luxury lies not in richness and ornateness but in the absence of vulgarity.” — Coco Chanel
The interiors embrace restrained luxury through a calm, earthy palette—soft neutrals, natural textures, and warm lighting. Every detail, from spatial planning to finishes, reflects precision and thoughtfulness, meeting global standards while maintaining a grounded elegance tailored to the lifestyle and context of the space.
THE RESULT
The result is a timeless, grounded home—elegant in form, effortless in experience.
